THE HOLDEN FAMILY I WINTER PARK FAMILY/CHILDREN’S PHOTOGRAPHER

I always thought I loved Kraft Azalea gardens in the afternoon, but the other morning might have changed my mind.  It is absolutely breathtaking in the morning.  Last Friday was no exception.  The morning light is just gorgeous through the cypress trees and was a perfect backdrop for the Holden family.

A Holiday Mini Session With the Tisdell Family

November is here already and it is going to be a busy one. I am a very happy girl about that too! For me November means a steady stream of families ready to take their holiday portraits. I am honored to be able to capture so many memories this year for my clients. I have met so many wonderful families this year and am excited to meet some more in the next few weeks.

One of my first Holiday mini sessions this season was with the Tisdell family. It was so much fun to see how much Cruz and Aria have grown over the last few months. Here are a few of my faves.

Olivia the Woodland Fairy

Olivia was a woodland fairy for Halloween this year.  Unfortunately she came down with a fever on the night before Halloween.  She rested up and insisted on celebrating with everyone.  We promised she would be able to trick or treat no matter what.  We brought the wagon and she got to ride along to trick or treat with front door service a la daddy.  She even wanted to get pictures in her hand made costume and crown.

No Snakes Here…. An Afternoon With the Rogers in Winter Park

When Tammy booked her session with me she requested a location with no snakes, no country, and no bugs.  We decided on downtown Winter Park by the train station, but had quite a surprise once we arrived.  The train station is a giant construction site!  Luckily I knew a few other spots within short walking distance for a great session.  We had fun exploring the farmer’s market, saw part of a wedding, and enjoyed a beautiful afternoon.
Here are some of my favorites.  Please feel free to leave a comment.  I would love to feel a little blog love today!

My Little Red Riding Hood

Sophia has middle child syndrome right now.  For real, it is a tad silly.  She is not starving for attention at all I promise.  However, I decided to give her a post of her own this time.  This year for Halloween I wanted to stick to a woodland theme.  I have seen a few pictures of Red Riding Hood that sparked my interest and I went from there.  Tallulah’s favorite animal right now is the owl…..perfect.  Liv was a hard sell.  She wanted to be a witch or vampire, but since Tallulah is just 18 months and it is her first real Halloween I did not want anything to scare her.  So after much convincing Olivia agreed to be a woodland fairy, thank goodness.  I got my mom on board and we set out for many trips to Hobby Lobby, JoAnnes, and Michaels.  I love making their costumes and I even get the girls involved.  It means so much more to them than just heading to a scary Halloween store and buying a flimsy costume.

So here is Sophia, the middle child, in her fabulous costume!

At The Pumpkin Patch With Karoline and Karter

I had such a great time capturing memories at the pumpkin patch this year.  I am so grateful for the families that chose to come out and share in the fun!  A great time was had by all and I can’t wait to do it again next year.  Karoline and Karter met me at the pumpkin patch too and proved that even “big” kids can have a little fun with the pumpkins too.  Here are some of my favorite to share.
